Hands of Hope is a community initiative restoring hope for vulnerable children and families in Kampala, Uganda through education, health, community support, and practical skills development.
James had dropped out of school at age 14 to help support his family. For three years, he worked odd jobs, barely scraping by. When Hands of Hope reached out, he was given a second chance.
Through our Education Learning program, James returned to school at age 17. With mentorship and support, he excelled and is now preparing for university entrance exams.
James is proof that it's never too late to chase your dreams.
